Crystalllized new site, concept and event...

Murder in Dreamland is happening again... This time the 4 hour long concept collective collage will be executed in three parts, namly part 1 titled: "Dreamland", part 2: "Murder in the Urban Heart" and part 3: "Exit Dreamland". READ MORE ABOUT THE INITIAL PROJECT...

"Murder in the Urban Heart" is happening as a part of the opening seremony of CODA International Dance Festival in Oslo, by Dansens Hus, Vulkan, in-over-around and by the river Akerselva on October 9th 2009 at 19:00-20:00.

The Plot..

The twins is seen young at heart, in white, in reminisent of the past dreamland. Later the grown women arrives, in a suspence of a nomination, who will get the award? And who is wearing what. The event is enclosing, they have to dig into their own heart to murder their innocense, to be able to get to a new conclution... Who dies -the young twins? or a part of everybody... the violent boxer... the lady in red... the bride...the surviving blackhearted twin or the other twin... is the fishernman there will the mysterious parrot lady appeare. The sound is crasy, the cars are fast, and the trucks continue to dig, further and further in the urban heart...

The lonely red lady is dancing with a shaddow and the couple is struggeling . The heart is pounding. Blood is pumping and appearing...

They celebrate life, and they live...

Sensing the mood of the location

We have visited the location a several times, and now its starting to "speak" to us... The site has crossed the border of the dreamland –the river, which is running from beautiful Maridalen, our main drinking source– is filled with something else. The riverbanks are no longer pristine... but carries a message about the urban jungle... a deep truth awakens our senses about the still intoxicating moving water...
